Viva Valezz! has been performing in the Midwest for almost a decade! She studied the danse orientale in Columbus, OH with Habeeba’s Dance of the Arts school since 1999. Viva! first began teaching dance in 2001. Viva! has always been a natural performer, forcing her family to watch her do her own variety shows in the living room since the age of 4. Her formal training includes a little tap, a little modern, a little country line dance, a lot of bellydance, and now burlesque – the art of strip tease.

Viva! has danced from coast to coast – Miami to Detroit, San Francisco to Coney Island. Viva!’s most exciting dance experience came when she travelled to Morocco (Northern Africa) with her California bellydance sisters to perform in various venues and regions, from bedoin dance on the Sahara Desert to cabaret style at a popular Marrakesh resort hotel.  Since Viva! began her exciting adventures in burlesque in 2007, she has performed in the Coney Island Rockabilly Festival Burlesque Blow-Out, and has taken her troupe to perform with them at the Great Boston Burlesque Exposition. First the Midwest – next, the world! Viva! has only just begun!
